Summer’s here: meet Le Rosé & Le Blanc by Famille Canon Chaigneau

After five vintages of deeply expressive red wines, we’ve decided to bring something new to the table, or rather, to the ice bucket. Introducing Le Rosé and Le Blanc, our first-ever summer wines under the Famille Canon Chaigneau label.

We’ve had many requests over the years: “Do you make white wine?” “What about a rosé for summer?” Until now, our answer was simple: we didn’t have the right grapes on our Lalande-de-Pomerol vineyard. But that didn’t mean we weren’t dreaming about it.

After months of tasting, we selected two beautiful cuvées from Château Vermont, a historic, family-run estate in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers. Like us, they work with precision, humility, and deep respect for the land.

We’ve bottled these wines under the Famille Canon Chaigneau label — a way to share something fresh and easygoing, while staying true to who we are.

Le Rosé: a pale, dry Bordeaux rosé that tastes like summer

Made from 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Petit Verdot, this rosé is a beautiful expression of Bordeaux finesse.

• Pale pink robe, delicately floral nose

• Fresh red fruit on the palate

• A savoury, juicy texture balanced by lively acidity

• Vinified at low temperature and aged on fine lees

Drink it within 2 years, very lightly chilled. It’s perfect with grilled vegetables, charcuterie, or watermelon-feta salad.

This is not your average poolside rosé — it’s dry, graceful, and refreshingly honest.

Le Blanc: a zesty Sauvignon Blanc to refresh your day

This white is a vibrant blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Sémillon, and 10% Sauvignon Gris.

• Complex bouquet: white flowers, grapefruit, passion fruit

• Round and generous from the Sémillon

• Freshness and minerality from the Sauvignon Blanc

• A delicate lift from the rare Sauvignon Gris

• Aged on lees for added texture and elegance

It’s a reference point in Entre-Deux-Mers, and now, a proud part of the Canon Chaigneau summer story. Try it with ceviche, soft cheeses, or lemony pasta dishes.
