2014 a été une année miraculeuse. L'hiver était doux, avec beaucoup de pluie. Juin était chaud et ensoleillé, mais juillet et août étaient particulièrement frais et nuageux, ce qui a conduit à des préoccupations concernant la maturité.
Bordeaux, comme une grande partie de la France, a connu un été indien exceptionnel de fin août au début de novembre, permettant à la fin d'être compensée et conduisant à des raisins merveilleusement mûrs. La récolte était plus tardive que d'habitude, à partir de début octobre.
Un rendement moyen et une récolte de qualité, avec des fruits purs concentrés, une bonne acidité et des tanins lisses. Se boit très bien, et encore les 5 prochaines années plus!
