Never in the estate's history have we started so early. The previous record belonged to the extraordinary, sun-drenched 2003 vintage — this year, picking begins a full week earlier.

2003 was one of the warmest summers on record, temperatures hitting 40 degrees through July and August. Our clay soils came to our rescue once again, holding in water & insulating the terroir against excessive heat. We harvested at the earliest date on record, starting picking on the 4th of September, ensuring the wine retains a superb mineral freshness as well as a wonderful ripe concentration. A rare treat to drink top, aged fine wine, limited stocks remaining.
