3 Summer dishes to pair with Le Rosé and Le Blanc
Summer calls for food that’s light, colourful, and unfussy. Exactly the kind of cooking that brings out the best in our new Le Rosé and Le Blanc wines. Whether you're planning a quick weeknight dinner or an al fresco feast with friends, here are three of our favourite seasonal pairings.
They’re pescatarian-friendly, easy to prep, and built to shine alongside a chilled glass.
1. Watermelon, Feta & Mint Salad
Perfect with: Le Rosé
This Mediterranean-inspired dish plays with contrasts: sweet and salty, fresh and creamy. The pale pink, dry Le Rosé brings out the fruit, while its zippy acidity balances the richness of the feta.
Make it yours: Add black olives or grilled halloumi for a twist. Serve very cold, with a splash of lime juice and olive oil.
2. Sea Bass Ceviche with Lime & Coriander
Perfect with: Le Blanc
A fresh citrus-forward ceviche is a natural match for the grapefruit and lime notes in our Sauvignon Blanc. The wine lifts the fish without overpowering it, keeping everything bright and clean.
Tip:
Use fresh sea bass or bream, marinate no longer than 20 minutes, and add finely chopped red onion, coriander, and a touch of chili (if you're braver than our little children!).
3. Grilled Aubergines, Peppers & Zucchini with Herby Olive Oil
Perfect with: Both Le Rosé and Le Blanc
The smokiness from the grill and the sweetness of roasted vegetables make this dish beautifully versatile. Serve warm or cold, with a lemon-herb dressing, and crusty bread.
Pairing tip:
Le Rosé highlights the char and sweetness; Le Blanc cuts through the oil and brings vibrancy.
Whether you cook or just assemble, what matters is the balance — of flavours, of texture, and of wine in your glass. Cheers!
